Good morning friends :) School is back in today and life should be getting back to some sort of regularity. I feel as though I have lots and lots of stuff to do though. I made appointments for all the boys this week and I need to finish up all the little bits and pieces for this Saturday's crop. Plus, I'll have a post up tomorrow over at Clearly iStamp as well as special one here for Limelight Papercrafts. Oh, and I get to do some day care work on Tuesday too :) and Thursday is Limelight's Sketch and Product Challenge too!
But, for today I want to share a quick card that I put together for the Clear Dollar Stamps Color Challenge that is held over at Paper Craft Planet every weekend. This past weekend's host was Laurie and it was rather challenging for me, plus and I'm not complaining, but I have to kind of decipher the SU! colors to the colors that I have. So, I sort of cheated and used patterned paper that happened to have most of the colors in the challenge. Then I added cardstock that I thought worked with the patterned paper.
The stamp set I used is a former stamp of the month from Clear Dollar and it is still available on clearance right now. You too can take advantage of this sale and get your own. The raccoon is really too cute and think of all the additions you can add to his/her hand. For my card today, I just cut out one of the presents from my paper and pop dotted it into his little palm. I then cut some more shapes out of the paper and pop dotted those too. And finally I used my Spica Glitter pens to add the little dots on my card.
Well that is it for me - I gotta go run and get stuff done, but check back tomorrow for Limelight's special projects that all the DT members will be sharing. They never disappoint, so I'm sure there will be super cool projects.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a wonderful Monday!!
