Needle Lift?

I was told something the other day that has just stuck with me specifically in regards to my wonderful children. A lovely lady I met said something to me that is so true... I had told her about the other night when I just couldn't wait for Kevin to come home so I could... yes leave all by myself. After that particular day, I just needed a break from my children.

This is what she said to me or something similar to this: Days can seem like forever, but years fly by in a wink of an eye. So true.

Anyway, today's card was just a fun card. The porcupine was one of the animals that I hadn't stamped yet from a set called Cute Critters designed by Laurie Wilson for Clear Dollar Stamps. The paper is double sided Heidi Grace from Joann's. I colored my critter in with my Copics and then accented his needles with my Signo Uniball Gel Pen. I loved the affect I got with this and don't you love the sentiment? I matted my image with my oval nesties and stamped my sentiment on anther nestie die cut and just so you know, you can also find nesties at Clear Dollar!!!

Now, I also have a couple of thoughts to share too. There are so many wonderful bloggers and friends and family of bloggers all doing wonderful things. I wish I could do every challenge, sketch, donation etc. But today, I wanted to let you know that Mandy from Limelight Papercrafts has a way that you can help a wonderful friend and cause. Click -->HERE<-- for all the details. There are also so many wonderful businesses out there that I wish I had an endless supply of the green stuff to sprinkle around! So with that said, I do want to remind everyone that Carrie over at My Little Stamp Shack is having a huge liquidation sale on lots and lots of really cute stamps from a variety of companies. And Mandy over at Limelight has all her Halloween stuff for sale too. There is still plenty of time to get some goods and make some fun stuff for that fun and spooky day and night.

Ok, that's it for me. Thanks so much for hanging in with me.
