Hi all! Is anyone a Hero's fan? I am, and I am thoroughly confused. Each scene just makes things even more confusing what with all the different jumps back and forth from past, present, and future. Until next week...
Anyway, here is a card that I made following Lauren's Saturday sketch. This card is smaller than the average 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2) that I make and this one measures 3 1/2" x 4 7/8" and is called a 4 Bar size. Its a cute size and I've been hearing (or actually) reading about this size notecard. While I was browsing around, I noticed that Emily Giovanni makes a lot of cards in this size. I don't know Emily, but I just love her last name :)
Anyway again... the stamp I used was perfect with this size. It was really too small to use with the sketch on a larger sized card. The stamp is from a Close to my Heart set that was part of a promotion a couple of months ago. After I stamped her, I colored her in with my Copics and she Shimmerz now. This was the first time I've used my Shimmerz and I really like the effect. I got mine from my pal Beverly at Precious Scraps. Beverly is very close to opening her very own brick and mortar scrapbooking store, but for right now, if you ask she either has or can get it for you. Then I finished up the card with some Kaisercraft Pearls and my overly large sentiment. Sometimes, you just gotta use what you got (kwim).
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous day!

I am a huge Hero's fan and each episode I get so upset that it's over! I almost want to wait until the seasons over and watch them all consecutively.
ooooooooooooh that Shimmerz stuff is super cool! I don't watch Hero's... but I don't watch much tv in general.
Great card.
HAPPY TUESDAY!

Yep, we're Heroes fans!! We used the DVR to record it last night while we were catching up with Sarah Conner Chronicles. HA! I'm glad you didn't spoil anything in your blog, but I have to agree -- Things are getting crazy/confusing with the plot. (I feel the same way about Lost, by the way.)
This is a very nice Card! I love the shimmer! You can never have to much sparkle! Thanks for sharing it on Lauren's Blog! Now I have to go look at some of your other great stuff!
My take on the sketch is here:

LOL! It is a cool name, huh? I just married into it - but I like it!
And totally cute - I've been wondering about that Shimmerz stuff. Isn't it a fun size to make??
