The Perfect Dress

Well, as many of you know, I spent some time looking for a dress. In reality, it probably wasn't that much time, but it seemed like a long time because I always had to figure out what to do with the kids while I went out.

I am so jealous of you ladies or gents that can go out and find just what you want or at least find something that looks good. Man, I had the hardest time. Since I'm writing this before I left for San Diego I still don't have a dress. Everything I tried on just didn't fit or just looked bad. I don't visit the mall very often and there is a reason for it. Its funny because I could spend 2 hours perusing a scrapbook/scrap store, but spend 2 hours at the mall - NOT. I'm so not a girly girl, but deep down I wish I was.

So, this card is the girly girl in me that really does want to come out. I wish I had the figure that could wear this oh so cute dress and oh those heels... Remember, I live in the land of REI and Birkenstocks, with an occasional sock with sandal (LOL). If I wore such stylish shoes I would either a) end up with blisters, b) fall down and embarrass myself, c) complain about my aching feet for a week.

Anyway, this stamp is one that I've been coveting for a while and finally ordered. Its designed by Rupa Shevde and is called "Retro Boutique". You can find it at Gina K Designs. The entire set is just yummy.

Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous day!

Funny ... you sound like me! I hate shopping for clothes, but give me a scrapbook/stamp store and I could shop for hours on end! You card is definately a girly-girl card and is absolutely beautiful, as is all your work!

Ooh I really like this! It reminds me of a new SU set for a changing of address & it has a little dress on a little hanger w/something like "changing of a dress" . The sample card in the catalog is too cute.
