Good morning! This is the ensemble that I made for Stamp Something challenge blog. The challenge that was issued was a Thank You theme. I had taken Lauren Meader's tutorial for a gift bag that you can find HERE. I needed a smaller bag for the soap I was putting into it so I changed the measurements to fit my item. I made the bag again and a matching card for the challenge.
I had purchased Papertrey ink's new Linen Vellum and I really wanted to try it out. It has such a neat look and hand to it as well. This vellum takes ink very well and it was fun and easy to work with. I stamped my vellum with a Papertrey stamp called Floral Frenzy. I love this stamp set - its so light and airy looking. I used CTMH inks which are dye based for this project and they worked beautifully. The sentiment on the gift bag is a preview of an upcoming Stamp of the Month from CTMH that is fabulous.
Here is a close-up of the card. The tag is a cuttlebug die cut and the sentiment is from the Floral Frenzy set. You can get a sense of what the vellum looks like, but check out the close up coming up.
Isn't the texture cool? Its really very neat looking in person and has a neat texture too. There is a distinct rough and smooth side. I stamped on the "rough" side for my projects.
Thanks for stopping by and please let me know if you would like a tutorial of my version of Lauren's. Have a great day!!

AWESOME gift set Katie! love the flower image and that textured paper is fabulous. Love the bag, may give that a try for my son's bday party favors. Thanks for joining in the challenge, awesome take on it! :)
I love your box and matching card! The colors are so bright and cheery, and that texture is fabulous!
WOW this is very nice! great colors
That is beautiful Katie!!! I'd love to see your tutorial.
I love the look and colors of these, Katie! I think I like the box better, because I like how the pattern is more open, airier--but I really do like them both!
