Welcome Home

Here is a card that I did for the My Favorite Things challenge for their New Releases the other night. I ended up using a non MFT stamp set since I only have one and the challenge was to use some sort of animal. So, I decided to use a new stamp set from Pink Cat Studios that I purchased from Carrie over at My Little Stamp Shack. This stamp is called Tweet and has the cutest dressed up bird. I also used my cricut to make my birdhouse and then stamped on the birdhouse with Garden of Life from Papertrey ink. The front of the card is cut out and the head of of the bird is stamped, cut, and then pop dotted for dimension. Then when you open the card, I used a pop up technique to attach the entire Tweet. I colored her in with copics and then matted her using the long rectangular nestabilities. The paper is that fabulous orange and pink combo that I can't quite get enough of right now. I combined that with some PTI cardstock and you end up with a very bright and cheery welcome home.
