Coffee and Friends... Lauren's sketch

Yeah again! I got another sketch done. This one is Lauren Meader's sketch and this card turned out SO much better than yesterday's sketch card. I was about to redo it, but just decided not to - too lazy. The more I looked at it the uglier it got. Anyway, this one turned out great and I like it. It is coffee themed again, but then again, I love my coffee which reminds me I have to get the new Lattebella from Stamping Bella!!! I am lucky enough to have my very own manly barrista to serve me everyday, which reminds me that I will have to make my own this next week since my manly barrista is leaving me alone with the 3 kids during spring break. Do you feel sorry for me yet...

I basically followed Lauren's color scheme but tweaked it for the paper that I was using, which is the reason why this card turned out so much better than yesterday's. I swear I didn't make up that color combination and in the end it didn't work - I guess that's why I don't make paper. Anyway, I saw this paper at Joann's and just loved it. I added the cafepost stamp to the large dot paper to add some more interest. I would have preferred the dots smaller, but again, I didn't make the paper. See that lovely ribbon I used? That was a little gift in my package of COPIC Spica Glitter Pens that I got for an early birthday gift from my wonderful MIL from Ellen Hutson. Little freebies are awesome!!! I masked my sentiment saying so the front says coffee and friends and then I stamped the rest of it on the inside "are the perfect blend".

Cardstock: Chocolate, Barn Red, Breeze, Buttercup (CTMH), Printed Paper: Shabby Princess (Bo Bunny), Ink: Chocolate, Barn Red (CTMH), Stamps: Coffee Classics (Inkadinkado), Hey There Cupcake - the sweet on the tab (Stampendous) which is exclusive to Eclectic Paperie, Other: SU! Tab Punch (LOVE this punch), Edge Distrsser (CTMH), Ribbon (Ellen Hutston)

Thanks for visiting!!

I can NOT believe Kevin is leaving you alone for spring break! Oh, well, the guy makes you an amazing vanilla latte every morning, so I guess you can't complain too much... (But a little is understandable!) *laugh* If you want to get our boys together during break, give us a call. We're staying home all week. (And Jay got 2 new videogames and 2 new Lego Star wars kits for his birthday this morning!!)
