School Valentines and Box

Hi all, I wanted to share the box that I put together for Hunter's Valentine's school party. We've never had to make a box before so I wasn't exactly sure what we were supposed to do. I fully admit that I did all the work, but Hunter helped picking colors and design. Luckily I had an envelope box that was almost empty that I could alter.

I used some Close to my Heart retired paper and accented with some Martha Stewart Valentine's stamps. The Valentines themselves were all cut using my Cricut - you gotta love that machine - at least I do :)

I can't believ its Thursday alraedy. The week is flying by and I have a ton of things I want to get done before I hit the road. I am missing the hubby, but will see him Saturday night and then I whoosh on out of here again and will be gone for a full 7 days. Its been a crazy month so far.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an awesome Thursday!

Pink Explosion

Hi everyone! I got a chance to play a little bit last night and I was finally able to pull out a Gina K set designed by Melanie Muenchinger called Little Tees. I've had this set for a while, but for some reason I had to use it and pair it up with the Basic Grey Bittersweet paper. I actually used some scraps from the 12x12 sheets, but even though the design scale is larger it still worked great for the card.

I also paired it up with the Martha Stewart Valentine stamp set. I acutally used a stamp that had a heart inside the image and then jsut cut the heart out. It fit perfectly on the front of the tee.

To be honest not much else going on here. I'll be at the dentist at 8:10 am this morning becaue I apparently forgot to tell my hubby that Hunter had an appointment on Tuesday of last week - NOT. If you remember I was gone at CHA :)

Otherwise, I have to get to stamping. I also have to figure out my schedule now that the twins aren't napping anymore - so sad :(

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you have an awesome day!

Be Mine and CHA

Howdy folks! I am headed to CHA in Anaheim today - yahoo. I'm really looking forward to it. For those of you who don't know what it is, it stands for Craft and Hobby Association Show. Who knows, I might even get a picture of/with Paris Hilton. Yes indeed, she is going to be at the show - imagine that (haha). I'm going in the capacity of Design Team Member of Clear Dollar Stamps (by the way, did you notice the new store logo with Charlie? Cuuute) as well as a Craft Critique Reporter. I remember reading lots of posts from the one in Chicago and seeing all the pictures of "celebrity" crafters and being so jealous. Yeah, I'm going to be one of those googly star struck crazies - not implying that those of you last time were crazies (lol)

Anyway, in the meantime, I have some sweet eye candy for you. I just adore these two Martha Stewart Punches that I got at the beginning of the year. They are both so cute. Paired with the Basic Grey Bittersweet (I got mine at Limelight Papercrafts) its a match made in heaven. One note here, I'm so disappointed that the Basic Grey paper isn't double sided anymore. That just makes me sad :(
I also used the coordinating Martha Stewart Stamps too.

Conveniently enough, one of the pinks works great with the Close to my Heart Hollyhock color. I love it when "mixing and matching" works. I also added some Kaisercraft Pink Pearls to the corners.

I'll be back with posts as soon as I can. I'll be sharing as much as I can of lots of great stuff!
